Born and raised in Ohio, Adelva Johnston received
her Bachelor of Science in business education from David Lipscomb
University, Nashville Tennessee and her Master of Arts in
Education from Murray State University, Murray, Kentucky.
In 1973, after teaching business education
for five years, she opened a real estate office (Marcus Johnston,
REALTOR) in Jacksonville with her husband, a home builder
and real estate broker.
In 1991, her husband, Marcus Johnston, retired
and the company became Adelva Johnston, REALTOR: An Agency
Exclusively for Buyers. Adelva dedicates herself to meeting
buyers' needs and measures her success not by volume of sales,
but by the satisfaction of her clients.
